At the request of the Judicial Conference Committee on Court Administration and Case Management, the Federal Judicial Center conducted a study of the use of courtrooms in the U.S. district courts.
The Southern District of New York's summer 2006 Milton Pollack Fellow prepared this report on how the district court handled terrorism cases. The research is based in part on interviews with judges who presided over the cases.
Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 32.1 permits attorneys to cite to federal courts of appeals their unpublished opinions issued 2007 or later. Unpublished opinions issued before 2007 may be cited to the courts if permitted by the courts' local rules.
