Extension completed in 1911; incorporated portions of 1897 building.

The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia met here from 1902 until 1931; the U.S. Circuit Court for the Western District of Virginia met here from 1902 until that court was abolished in 1912.
Building razed.
