Donald J. Trump for President v. Boockvar (4:20-cv-2078) and Pirkle v. Wolf (4:20-cv-2088) (Matthew W. Brann, M.D. Pa.)
Six days after the 2020 presidential election, the apparently defeated incumbent sought an injunction against certification of Pennsylvania’s votes, citing alleged mismanagement of the election. The district judge heard oral arguments eight days later, after substantial changes in the plaintiffs’ representation. The judge dismissed the case, and the court of appeals affirmed his denial of permission for another amended complaint.
