Civic Education About the Courts

The Federal Judicial Center produces resources to teach federal court employees about how the courts work, how they are organized, and how they fit into the U.S. system of government. The Center also studies the history of the federal courts and develops programs about the history of the judicial branch, including analyses of famous federal cases and their impact on U.S. history. The resources on this page are made available to help educators, students, the media, and other members of the public learn more about the federal courts.
