Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit
Nominated by Franklin D. Roosevelt on March 6, 1934, to a seat vacated by Smith Hickenlooper. Confirmed by the Senate on March 15, 1934, and received commission on March 21, 1934. Served as chief judge, 1958-1959. Assumed senior status on October 5, 1959. Service terminated on September 12, 1966, due to death.
