Beth Wiggins, Director of Research, moderated a session on “Harnessing Public Trust and Confidence in the Endemic World” during an International Consortium for Court Excellence conference in March. The panel featured Bankruptcy Judge Deborah Thorne (NDIL), Daniel Hall (Former VP, National Center for State Courts), along with NCSC and international consultants. Beth and the panelists discussed European and North American solutions to unequal access to technology among court users and how technology might be used to bolster, rather than undermine, institutional transparency and public trust and confidence.
