Judge, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia
Nominated by Dwight D. Eisenhower on January 11, 1960, to a seat vacated by Herbert S. Boreman. Confirmed by the Senate on March 1, 1960, and received commission on March 5, 1960. Served as chief judge, 1963-1965. Service terminated on February 17, 1965, due to death.
