Nominated by George W. Bush on August 1, 2002, to a seat vacated by Alfred J. Lechner, Jr. Confirmed by the Senate on November 14, 2002, and received commission on December 3, 2002. Served as chief judge, 2017-2019. Service terminated on May 16, 2019, due to retirement.
