Nominated by Dwight D. Eisenhower on March 6, 1958, to a seat vacated by William Denman. Confirmed by the Senate on March 25, 1958, and received commission on March 26, 1958. Assumed senior status on September 5, 1963. Service terminated on December 28, 1973, due to death.
