U.S. Circuit Courts for the Districts of Washington: Legislative History

February 22, 1889
25 Stat. 676
Congress established the U.S. Circuit Court for the District of Washington and assigned the district to the Ninth Circuit. The act became effective upon the admission of the State of Washington on November 11, 1889.
March 2, 1905
33 Stat. 824
This act divided Washington into the eastern and western judicial districts and created a U.S. circuit court in each district.
March 3, 1911
36 Stat. 1087
Congress abolished the U.S. circuit courts, effective January 1, 1912.
