The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida met here until the creation of the Middle District in 1962; the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida met here from 1962 until 1998; the U.S. Circuit Court for the Southern District of Florida met here until that court was abolished in 1912.
Undergoing redevelopment as a hotel as of 2013.
