The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois met here until the 1905 reorganization of the Illinois judicial districts; the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois met here from 1905 until 1937; the U.S. Circuit Court for the Northern District of Illinois met here until the 1905 reorganization of the Illinois judicial districts; the U.S. Circuit Court for the Southern District of Illinois met here from 1905 until that court was abolished in 1912.
Razed in 1937.
