The U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama met here until 1933; the U.S. Circuit Court for the Middle District of Alabama met here until that court was abolished in 1912; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit met here from 1903 until 1933.
Razed in 1962.
