The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida met here until the creation of the Middle District in 1962; the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida met here from 1962 until 2003; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit met here from 1948 until 1981.
Now owned by the city.
