Architect: Hull & Malvaney
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi met here from 1935 until 2011, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit met here from 1981 until 2011.
Renamed the James Eastland Federal Building in 1984.
As of December 2011, the fate of the building had not been determined.
