Still in use by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of Illinois; the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Illinois met here until the creation of the Central District in 1978; the U.S. Circuit Court for the Eastern District of Illinois met here until that court was abolished in 1912.
