In 2023, at the request of the US Department of State, the Federal Judicial Center hosted two delegations from Vietnam, including members of the Supreme Court and researchers from Vietnam’s Judicial Academy and the Institute for Legal Studies.

Later that year, the Center facilitated a workshop for Vietnamese judges on evidentiary issues in criminal cases. This program was followed by meetings with court officials in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.
