In 2020, the FJC organized a two-part webcast. In the webcast, judges from nine countries discussed their courts’ experience during the pandemic. Part One featured judges from Australia, Brazil, Egypt, the Philippines, and the United States describing their efforts to continue court operations. In Part Two, judges from Bulgaria, France, India, Nigeria, and the United States discussed the process of adapting to virtual court proceedings and how their criminal justice systems worked to curtail the spread of Covid-19 in the prisons.
