Collection: Essays from Alumni of the Federal Judicial Center's Visiting Fellows Program
The Federal Judicial Center’s Visiting Fellows Program started in 1992. This program hosts judges, court officials, lawyers, and those interested in the study of the courts as scholars-in-residence. Fellows spend one to three months at the Center conducting research in a field relevant to judicial and legal reforms in their countries.
The Center invited alumni of the Fellows Program to submit short articles highlighting recent developments in their judicial systems. The submissions are varied in subject and illustrate the range of concerns facing judges around the world.
The views and opinions expressed in these articles are those of the authors and not the Federal Judicial Center.
