National Judicial Academy at the FJC

In September, a delegation of high court justices from eight regions in India spent two days at the Center as part of a multi-year project coordinated by the CEELI Institute, with funding from the U.S. Department of State. This program, delivered in collaboration with India’s National Judicial Academy, focused on developing a curriculum to teach Indian district and sessions judges strategies for implementing the Hague Memorandum on Good Practices for the Judiciary in Adjudicating Terrorism Offenses. The Academy, located in Bhopal, India, is interested in integrating distance-learning technologies into its programs. During the workshop, participants toured the Center’s video studio.
