Judge, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit
Nominated by Herbert Hoover on April 18, 1929, to a new seat authorized by 45 Stat. 1346. Confirmed by the Senate on May 23, 1929, and received commission on May 23, 1929. Served as chief judge, 1948-1959. Assumed senior status on September 30, 1960. Service terminated on January 21, 1962, due to death.
