1982 The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit established with the combined jurisdiction of the U.S. Court of Customs and Patent Appeals and the U.S. Court of Claims as well as authorization to hear appeals from several federal administrative boards as well as patent cases from the U.S. district courts.
