The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois met here from 1879 until 1894; the U.S. Circuit Court for the Northern District of Illinois met here from 1879 until 1894; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit met here from 1891 until 1894.
Razed in 1896.
