The Foundation Board has also adopted guidelines to help it determine whether to accept gifts offered to the Foundation.

The Board of the Federal Judicial Center has adopted a policy to guide the Center staff in dealing with organizations and individuals contemplating a donation to the Foundation and to set forth the Board’s actions to indicate its statutorily required approval of any projects to be supported by earmarked gifts to the foundation.
