settlement class, tentatively approving proposed class settlement, and temporarily

conditions are met, detailed notices regarding the settlement would be mailed to class
members (probably in September 1998), followed by a hearing (probably in December 1998) to

- Revised Settlement Program for Foreign Claimants
- Entered December 13, 1996, approving settlement program from Bristol, Baxter, and 3M,
offering benefits in settlement of claims of eligible foreign "Current
Claimants" that essentially mirrors (except for rupture supplements and Long-Term
benefit options) benefits offered to domestic claimants and that, for other eligible
foreign registratrants, provides for payments by settling defedants into a fund with an
allocation as yet undefined but with funding obligations equivalent to the average amount
provided to participatnts under Ontario/Quebec class action settlement. Program envisions
further implementation of details, including notice to eligible foreign registrants and
with options after notice to "opt out". Foreign Registrants are requested not to
